Blagojevich Flips on Temp Budget Deal | Calls for Special Session 7 Days a Week Starting July 5th

Illinois Gov. Blagojevich just flip-flopped on a temp budget deal that included Illinois legislators returning on July 10th to Springfield. After a meeting with legislative leaders, he has annoyed them by insisting a special session be called starting July 5th.

Perhaps the most strange part is hearing Blago talk about how legislators should stay in Springfield every day until the work gets done. As most of our viewers know, Blago barely visits Springfield so when he makes comments like that, he isn't making friends with the members of the Illinois General Assembly.

Does anyone (Democrat or Republican) have any respect for Blagojovich anymore. He is so arrogant. Hope the Democrats dump him in the next election.

If they don't, we the electorate will.

We really need to take off the blinders when it comes to elections. The more money they have the better chance they have. Great! The more connections they make to become corrupt and sell our vote down the river.
