I hope that Aurora gives some small consideration to local firms bidding for this work. Maybe a tie breaker or one or two points in favor of the local firm. If we get this money and award contracts to firms from Rockford it will provide little local stimulus.
Why would we not ask for the money to cover the Downer Bridge? The park should be put on a shelf for now.
Wiesner Park needs to be put on hold until he fixes some roads and other infrastructure.
Can't read? Don't worry you can always be a Democrat. Can't write? Don't worry you can always be a Democrat. Don't want to work? don't worry you can always be a Democrat. Can't spell? Don't worrry you can always be a Democrat. Want to kill babies? Don't worry the Democratic party of death will help you. Vote the Whizz Weisner in and you will have Utopia right here in Aurora.
Yeah, like Obama is really going to give Weisner anything. This is just a political stunt, and not surprisingly Openline is so nice about it. Glad to see you're part of the payoff game too.
How about an upper parking deck at the downtown Metra station? That would satisfy the need for commuter parking while generating money for other things.
Okay Openline who bought you off in the city administration, city council and other divisions of government. Why has this blog changed since Lawrence stopped running for mayor? Who is behind the 180 degree turn? Why are Weisner and his cronys being loved by you, now?
So now we crawl on our knees to a nigger? Niggers like Obama are use to taking handouts, as a white man I'll pass. Figures Weisner would suck a black cock, always figured him for a latent fag type. This is embarrassing.
Vulgarity totally uncalled for.
16 million to clean up that park site? Whos in charge of this the Truck Man from Chicago? Nonsence
Many capital projects should probably be placed on hold until the economy recovers. Why are we asking for funds for an Ogden Avenue railroad crossing when we are fighting against the CN railroad? As far as small businesses getting a piece of the action, forget it, the pay to play is just not at the State leve and someday you will realize that. Plenty of time to submit you campaign contribution to get in on the Federal bucks.
