I am disgusted listening to Rice try to defend torture. She should be ashamed of herself and ask for forgiveness.
More than anyone else, Rice dropped the ball on pre 9/11 intelligence. And more than anyone else, Rice dropped the ball on the intelligence about attacking Iraq. Since then, she has tried to backtrack on her "mushroom cloud" scare tactic by saying that the "question of imminence isn't whether or not someone will strike tomorrow, it's whether you believe you're going to be in a stronger position tomorrow". She deserves a life in Gitmo, with a dictionary. Shame!

They accomplished what they wanted and another attack would have re-energized America against the mid-East freedom fighters. I read so much pacifistic rhetoric in these blogs that I wonder just who would defend the USA if there was an invasion on our soil. Would we just sit by and blog ourselves into oblivion and complain about those who stepped up and made the effort? No, because at that point we would be vaporized and we would deserve it!
