I agree with you wholehaeartedly and have been trying to educate as many people as I can..somehow they just look at you with a blank stare and return to the "news" of ABC,CBS,NBC, MSNBC etc and think this is reality. For a good explination of the current mess we are in please try to find the Malcom Burko article about the 545 members of congress and their culpability in the whole mess. Not the bankers, not the big pharma, not wall street but directly lays it at the feet of the CONGRESS of THE USSA. If you want to blame blame the stupidity of the voters and the cunning of congress....VOTE THEM ALL OUT>>>sympathy for none of them. OUT OUT OUT. PS Berko's article was in the Beacon News within the past two weeks.

Glenn Beck on Fox has been on the OBAMA trail for the past two months or so...all that he says about ACORN,OBAMA,HOSPITALITY UNION, Wade Ratheke, Rev Wright, REV Flager, Bill Ayers, Tides Foundation are all true. The current tact of the OBAMA REGEIM is to involve the religious organizations in helping him with his NATIONALIZATION of HEALTHCARE. This is exactly what he was trained to do and than taught others to do. ACORN knows that if you can envolve the religious of the country you will have a powerful ally. THis is the back of the yards tactic established on the west side of Chicago in the 50s by another communist sympathizer. They envolved the Catholic Church, the Baptist Churches, the Jewish Faith all under the guise of social justice and equality. This AOCRN has spread all over the country it is just not local to CHICAGO. I started researching this over a year ago and everything BECK found is true...all you have to do is GOOGLE any of the above and follow the leads...a communist conspiricy that has been going on since the 1930s and heated up in the 1960s and now on fire. All aided by our congressmen..they are the true enemies of the people. GOOD LUCK TO US.

I still have not heard Obama, Pelosi, Reid and the Democrats in Congress say they will be first in line to enroll their entire family including their elderly and disabled relatives in this healthcare plan. I want them to be on this plan for at least 3 years give us all access to detailed reports (anonymously of course) on how it worked for them and their families. Then let the American people decide by putting it on a referendum.

You're missing the point. Nobody "enrolls" in this health care plan, and nobody has to give up any coverage they now have.

What are the answers? Where can one look to find answers?

The White staff set up a "snitch" web site to alert them of the "fishy" information being disseminated around the nation.

This administration continues to demonize Americans, you know the people that pay for everything and will have to pay for this additonal yoke around our neck.

Barnie Frank, a bastian of good sense and truth compares a constituent to a dining room table, one of many examples we have seen around the nation.

With this in mind ask yourself just who is puting out correct information and who is likely to put out information that is misleading? Do you really believe that members of congress are worthy of such trust? Or this administration for that matter?

Take some time and check the bill to see if what is being said by Obama, congress and his people are accurate when compared to the contents of the house bill. Learn for yourselves whether he is accurately stating the contents of this bill. Examples of misstatements and inaccuracies appear quite often. So who is telling the truth and who is not?

It appears that this bill was not written by Obama or his staff. If it was or they did he would have a better handle on its contents. It would appear that Obama is describing a bill that he would like to see rather than the bill that is before the house right now. Why is that you ask?

He has neither read it nor studined it.

A couple of weeks ago an Oklahoma senator was interviewed and he stated that he sponsered an amendment to require that congress participate in this Obama care plan. Can you guess the result of the vote? It went down in flames.

This Senator further related that one senator stated on the senate floor "that he would not put his dog into that program".

So with that comment in mind where does that leave the American people?

The answer, we are less than a house pet to congress.

On Friday, August 14, 2009, a blog called legalinsurrection had a post by Willaim Jacobson entitled, “IRS The New Health Care Enforcer”

Guess who or what is going to track your health care coverage?

“The Senate bill imposes a new requirement that all persons who provide health care coverage to others must file a return with the IRS listing the names, addresses, social security numbers, and the coverage period for each person, and "such other information as the Secretary [of Health and Human Services] may prescribe." (Section 161(b) starting at page 107). The bill does not limit what information the Secretary may request, so it is conceivable and likely that information as to the nature of the coverage, the family members included, and other details will be reported to the IRS.”

“The House bill contains similar provisions in section 401(b) (at pp. 175-176). The following information must be reported by the person providing health coverage:

(A) the name, address, and TIN of the primary insured and the name of each other individual obtaining coverage under the policy, (B) the period for which each such individual was provided with the coverage referred to in subsection (a), and (C) such other information as the Secretary may require.”

“This information is to be provided to the IRS for good reason. The House bill provides for a tax on people who do not have acceptable coverage at "any time" during the tax year. House bill section 401 provides for a new section 59B (at pp. 167-168) of the Internal Revenue Code:

(a) TAX IMPOSED.—In the case of any individual who does not meet the requirements of subsection (d) at any time during the taxable year, there is hereby imposed a tax equal to 2.5 percent of the excess of—
(1) the taxpayer’s modified adjusted gross income for the taxable year, over
(2) the amount of gross income specified in section 6012(a)(1) with respect to the taxpayer.”

“The Senate version is similar, although the tax is called a "shared responsibility payment" not a tax. Section 161 (at pp. 103-104) words new section 59B of the IRC to require lack of coverage for a month (subject to certain exemptions) before the tax kicks in, and does not specify a specific percentage, but instead, directs that annually the Secretary shall seek to establish the minimum practicable amount that can accomplish the goal of enhancing participation in qualifying coverage (as so defined).”

“The reporting requirements can only be understood in this tax context. In order to know which taxpayers to tax, the IRS needs to know which taxpayers do not have coverage received from someone else (normally, an employer).”

By the way the IRS is NOT a governmental entity. It is a private collection agency working for the “United States”.

Just remember Leonard, we are the house pets that can vote them out. It's just a matter of doing it until they get the message who their employers are.

This country is headed for a second civil war. We are divided into Democrats and crazies.

Democrats and crazys? I think more like people who care for this country as it used to be, with common sense and then DEMOCRATS a lazy bunch of do nothings only using the government to support their lazy good for nothing social programs at the expense of the producers of this country. Democrats always with their hands out to take from the people who pay the taxes all the while their thieving, stealing party robing the country of its assets all because they are too lazy to work or get themselves educated. Lazy Lazy Lazy socialists.

Lead by example, pull the plug on Ted Kennedy!

Democrats are a vile oppressive vermin that should be eradicated. Have you ever noticed that the majority of Democrat voters live in squalor with cockroaches? What more proof do you need? Democrats carry disease and should be eliminated for the good of society.

Anonymous said...

Yea, those dog-gone Democrats are the ones responsible for bringing in Social Security. Those lazy do-nothing people over 62 have no business sponging off us hard working taxpayers. Let's see a show of senior Republican hands that are willing to abolish Social Security and stop this government handout once and for all.

Obamacare out of the mouth of Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, Obama's chief health-care architect (and brother of Rahm Emanuel), has been very honest and clear what ObamaCare will mean to retired Americans:

“Unlike allocation by sex or race, allocation by age is not invidious discrimination; every person lives through different life stages rather than being a single age. Even if 25-year-olds receive priority over 65-year-olds, everyone who is 65 years now was previously 25 years."
-Lancet, Vol 373 June 31, 2009

"Services provided to individuals who are irreversibly prevented from being or becoming participating citizens are not basic and should not be guaranteed. An obvious example is not guaranteeing health services to patients with dementia."
-Where Civic Republicanism and Deliberative Democracy Meet Author(s): Ezekiel J. Emanuel Source: The Hastings Center Report, Vol. 26, No. 6,.

"When implemented, the complete lives system produces a priority curve on which individuals aged between roughly 15 and 40 years get the most substantial chance, whereas the youngest and oldest people get chances that are attenuated."
-Lancet, Vol 373, January 31, 2009, 428

"Unlike allocation by sex or race, allocation by age is not invidious discrimination; every person lives through different life stages rather than being a single age. Even if 25-year-olds receive priority over 65-year-olds, everyone who is 65 years now was previously 25 years."
-Lancet, Vol 373 June 31, 2009

"Strict youngest-first allocation directs scarce resources predominantly to infants. This approach seems incorrect. The death of a 20-year-old woman is intuitively worse than that of a 2-month-old girl, even though the baby has had less life. The 20-year-old has a much more developed personality than the infant, and has drawn upon the investment of others to begin as-yet-unfulfilled projects....
-Lancet, Vol 373, January 31, 2009 425,

Adolescents have received substantial substantial education and parental care, investments that will be wasted without a complete life. Infants, by contrast, have not yet received these investments.... It is terrible when an infant dies, but worse, most people think, when a three-year-old child dies, and worse still when an adolescent does."
-Lancet, Vol 373, January 31, 2009, 428

"Vague promises of savings from cutting waste, enhancing prevention and wellness, installing electronic medical records and improving quality are merely 'lipstick' cost control, more for show and public relations than for true change. Savings will require changing how doctors think about their patients. Doctors take the Hippocratic Oath too seriously, as an imperative to do everything for the patient regardless of the cost or effects on others."
-Health Affairs: The Policy Journal of the Health Sphere, 2008

"Every favor to a constituency should be linked to support for the health-care reform agenda. If the automakers want a bailout, then they and their suppliers have to agree to support and lobby for the administration's health-reform effort."
-Health Care Watch, November 2008

Leonard, your quotes from the Lancet reminded me of the documentary I saw back in the 80s when the Moslems and Africans were invading England. At that point all grading systems were eliminated and there were no winners or losers allowed in school games. Now there is no need for old it any wonder than than a once great country has succumbed to failyer because of acceding to the wishes of their "imported" citizens? I might add that not long ago I had one of our "imported" citizens tell me how wonderful it would be to have socialized which point I told the son of a bitch to go back where he came from if he liked it so much.

Leonard, I have no idea what your point is. You are quoting The Lancet without context.

I think I could probably prove the value of a Jew by "cherry-picking" Mein Kampf

Should we assume that you are against being our brothers keepers?

Leonard said...

Read the opening paragraph. That is the context.

If you do not know who the good doctor is he is the brother of Rahm, chief of staff for Obama. In addition he has been appointed to very high level positions with respect to the control of health care in this nation.

By the by, the house bill and all of this effort by the United States, in my opinion, has little to do with health care and very much to do with control. Control of our very bodies. With that the United States has direct control of everything about you.

Is that what you want? More people need to stop dirinking cool-aid and see the light on what this administration and congress is actually attempting to do here.

Obamacare bails out union pension plans, too

Union bosses who have mismanaged benefits for their own members are poised to receive a $10 billion bailout from U.S. taxpayers in the form of a “reinsurance program” that has been folded into the healthcare bill, according to the Workforce Fairness Institute (WFI).
This provision should be viewed as part of a larger payback effort the Obama White House and top congressional figures have set up in exchange for the support they have received from organized labor, Katie Packer, executive director of WFI said.

Section 164 of the Affordable Health Choices Act of 2009 provides that the government pay 80 cents on the dollar to corporate and union insurance plans for claims between $15,000 and $90,000 for retirees age 55 to 64. Union health insurance funds only have about 30 cents available to cover each dollar of anticipated claims, according to the Lewin Group and other research outfits.

If this provision were to be passed as part of the overhaul package favored by the Obama Administration, the $10 billion figure would probably expand overtime as union plans continue to come under financial pressure, Packer said.
