Election 2010 | 14th Congressional District Candidate Shuffle Continues; Former Aurora Alderman Exits

For those scoring at home, the 14th Congressional District candidate lineup continues to change.

The latest includes the addition of State Sen. Randy Hultgren and businessman Jim Purcell to the Republican list while Jim Pistorius will challenge Democrat incumbent Bill Foster.

Ethan Hastert, Mark Vargas and Jeff Danklefsen are also running for the seat in the Republican primary.

One candidate who has decided not to further pursue the position is Bill Cross, a former Aurora Alderman.

As soon as this blog stops stealing stories from the Beacon and the Daily Herald, we'll stop pointing it out.

Why what are you some sort of leftist faggoty reporter like Salles? Who care if the copy an article to offer commentary? It is not like they are stealing form legitimate journalist. The Beacon for sure lost all integrity years ago. You cannot trust any of the ass wipes in the media - and you are a damn fool if you do.

Remember, if the candidate is an incumbant, vote 'em out. Don't re-elect liars.

Foster is a moron! Plan an simple.

Hultgren and Hastert are the only 2 worth their salt.

I don't know anything about Hultgren but Hastert is too close to the tree for my concerns...One thing we don't need is the son of any ex politician who is now a bribing lobbyist and a lawyer to boot. No Hastert dynasty thank you. Too much baggage.

Looks as if all the Hastert consultants have voted.

Hultgren voted to to give us the largest tax increase in 2009! The candy, soda, beer tax. He voted for video poker state wide. Just what we need another RINO in DC.

This Vargas guy maybe the real deal. Seems to be getting alot of support.

End the libral RINOS and the Libral donkeys next election cycle and put an end to the destruction of America.
