Hey OBAMA hows that promised jobs program going? Looks like we're up to 18% unemployment... highest since good ol FDRs numbers in the 30s. Another success especially if you are intetionally trying to wreck the economy.

Wow check out the disgusting and filthy Obama politics as usual tactics used by Obama to ram this disaster down the tax paying citizen's throats. And this from Obama who lied yet again when he claimed he was going to operate in an open fashion. I suggest you actually read the article so you can see the tactics used, but for educational purposes I clipped one of the tactics below.

http://www.newsmax.com/morris/healthcare_reform_bribe/2009/11/08/283349.html?s=al&promo_code=905C-1

The only industry that refused to knuckle under was the medical device makers. They stood for principle and wouldn't go along with Obama's blackmail. So the Senate Finance Committee retaliated by imposing a tax on medical devices such as automated wheelchairs, pacemakers, arterial stents, prosthetic limbs, artificial knees and hips and other necessary accoutrements of healthcare.

So Obama once again proves beyond a doubt what a dirty filthy stinking low life he is.

Boy I hope my insurance rates keep going up. Ihope the insurance companies will charge me enough so I don't have a house to live in or food to eat so they can make more money.
Hell why don't I just give them all my retirement check and make them happy.
You people are unbelievable.

3:01 you really are an idiot. Things cost what they cost. We have improved medical equipment and facilities as well as cutting edge research which costs money. No socialist country has these things - research it! The equipment is antiquated and often second hand as are the facilities. the U.S. does the majority of the research and develops the majority of the equipment, techniques and the pharmacy drugs and the rest of the world, as usual rides on our backs.

If you wan to live longer in retirement and be active it costs money - big surprise. You know you can live any lifestyle you wish as long as you have money and if you don't want to pay to keep going on, just take a lot of sleeping pills, which is what you will end up doing under Obama care anyways when you are old, can't get in to see a doctor or are denied life giving treatment based on the Government averages for life expectancy.

There is no free ride. Government does nothing well and does a couple of things barely adequately at best.

Government runs Medicare and the V.A. Hospital.

Want them both closed down???

Anonymous said...

Government runs the military.

Want that eliminated too??

Anonymous said...

Government runs the fire department.

Want that gone??

Anonymous said...

80% of Americans are unhappy with the healthcare system. Check the polls.

Yes I want them gone. Volunteer fire departments work very well. Militia works very, very well. Government hospitals, you don't know your history obviously.

The Government does very little at even the lowest level of competence.

11/10-7:42 Blatent lies...tell it often enough and you and the Democrats and OBAMA may make it fact for all the dupes that voted for them.

I think this is my swan song. I don't want to waste anymore time on this blog.

It probably only attracts 12 persons and 10 of them are mentally ill.

PROOF OF DEATH PANELS. Todays Southeast Missourian of Cape Girardeau contains a letter from a resident stating: "I am a senior citizen with a heart-lung condition. I went to my MD and requested a H1N1 shot and was told that he only had three and that it would be up to me to clear it through the local health dept. I called them and was told that only Pregnant women and children could be approved for shots at this time and that I would have to call back in Dec. and try to get approval then" So for all you COMMUNIST DEMOCRATS who think that the government running your health care is the be all and end all it just may be...the end of you if you are in the right age group.

So...what. Even assuming what you say is true, you want us to subsidize health care for the rest of the world? Why would you argue that Americans paying high prices when no one else does is a good thing?

Also, measured in "number of dead babies," life expectancy, and total cost, America compares pretty poorly to those "socialist" countries. (source: http://www.oecd.org/dataoecd/46/2/38980580.pdf)

Pop down to "health expenditures per capita." Notice that the government in America pays roughly as much per person as it does in other countries, but citizens pay 10x as much. We pay over double the OECD average for outcomes that are worse than the average.

Countries with government health care get more for less. That's all there is to it.

IF those countries are getting more for less as you say than why do German citizens pay 50% of their income to support such a system. I don't see you paying anything near this for superior health care in the United States.

That 50% of their income is for a lot more than just health care--social welfare, mass transit, unemployment benefits, etc. Read the chart in the link I sent you. The average private German citizen pays $700 (equivalent) for their health care. The average US citizen pays over $3000.
