Oprah Says It's Time to Say Goodbye to Chicago | Final Show September 9, 2011

It's official. Oprah will end the "The Oprah Winfrey Show" on September 9, 2011 and say goodbye to Chicago. Employees were notified on Thursday about the plans, broadcast and media partners later in the day. Viewers are being notified on Friday during a live show.

Oprah is developing a new cable network with Discovery Communications called OWN (Oprah Winfrey Network) to be based in Los Angeles.

And now, to help Oprah with her message to Chicago, please welcome Andrea Bocelli and Sarah Brightman with "Time to Say Goodbye."

I agree, I'm glad to see her leave.

She's become arrogant and full of herself.

Any man who is guilty of watching Oprah, even once, will be kicked out of the Man Fraternity.

Can't Oprah end it now instead of dragging us all through the "I'm Oprah, it's all about me" tour for the next 18 months?

Oprah's ratings were declining anyway. She has become too much of a celebrity tabloid show.

Wow well she has enough money to buy her own country so I give her blessings and pray that everything works out with her MAY god bless.

She is just pissed because her greatest ratings came form Sarah Palin being on her show and not Obama. Oprah has always been a racist and remains one. Sh eis simply pouting because her savior has been rejected.

Roughly 50% of the country are men, and the appeal of Palin is obvious enough. Only a small percentage of the population are fags and the appeal of the effeminate Obama to queers is also obvious enough . Thus we can readily see the cause of the rating gap between Palin and Obama.
