Taxpayers Subsidize Millions for Construction and Giveaway Land for Day Care Center As City Buildings and Area Properties Stay Vacant

A private group will operate a new $5.5 million day care center for up to 197 children on Aurora's near east side, but are receiving millions from taxpayers for the construction plus land for a parking lot.

The issue isn't if a day care center is necessary or helpful, but two broader questions.  Why are taxpayers paying for it and why build a new facility when there are numerous vacant properties in the area?

It's that hopey, changey thing with Weisner at the helm. They will not be satisfied until the entire American economic system collaspses and we the taxpayers, our children and grandchildren are in debt. No one in their right mind would spend more of the taxpayers dime when everyone else is tightening their belts except the DemocRATs. If you are stupid enough to think the class war being waged and all the entitlement programs being rammed down our throats means that "no one that makes over $250,000 is going to have their taxes go up by one single dime" (Obama's promise), you are indeed an idiot.

I have to laugh at Little Richie Daley asking the public to come up with ideas to help with his budget. Just what the hell happened to the BILLIONS that Chicago got from the sale of the skayway and the sale of the parking meters. Want to guess that their wonderful city council has found a way to abscond with the money? HOw about getting for life health insurance once you are elected...no tenure required? I do beleive that the board of our local sewer district gets these same benefits, though for life of me I don't see how board memebers deserve any benefits other than a stipend for meetings. I also beleive that our electorate has been so dumbed down by public education and the GREEDY UNIONS that there is almost no hope of pulling us back from the brink of destruction. This Day Care center deal looks suspeciously like a CHICAGO job to me.
