Fiscal Impact 2011 | City of Aurora Cuts Back Customer Service Hours

Starting this Monday, the City of Aurora will no longer operate its customer service center from 7am to 7pm.

Instead, the customer service hours will be cut back and open 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday.

To reach customer service, call 630-256-INFO.  City officials say after-hour voicemails will be addressed the next business day.

The Aurora City Council voted in December to raise your property tax rates.

I hope all these people working at customer service are hourly and not salaried. Otherwise its like giving them a raise and still costing the same with no reduction in costs.

The only city employees on salary are the executives.

Everyone else is hourly.

Ha ha that says it all... 1st comment implies that the salaried employee would be making out in the end.... 2nd comment confirms it!

With the city raising property taxes, it will drive mexicans to increase more families per household.
