Miss America 2011 | Teresa Scanlan of Nebraska...Not Ready for Foreign Policy, Freedom of Information and Security Issues

There she is...Miss America 2011.

Teresa Scanlan of Nebraska was crowned on Saturday evening in Las Vegas.

However, while we congratulate her, based upon the questions she was asked during the competition, we aren't sure she's ready for a career involving foreign policy, freedom of information, security or the information age of new media.

When asked about the website Wikileaks, which has released thousands of classified documents in cooperation with various major media, she said:

"You know when it came to that situation, it was actually based upon espionage, and when it comes to the security of our nation, we have to focus on security first and then people's right to know, because it's so important that everybody who's in our borders is safe and so we can't let things like that happen, and they must be handled properly."

Oh, you're so full of feces, openline. Her answer was 110% CORRECT. There is a balance. Even government must have some secrets, or it puts our country in danger and can result in people being killed. After all, if you and Assange say there should be no secrets, let's see you and him put YOUR secrets on-line for all to see. What's good for the goose is good for the gander. Why don't we just start w/ something simple. Why don't YOU have the balls to tell the world who you are. It must be because you're ashamed of what you do.

Let's see how long it takes for you to show you HAVE no balls and delete this post.

I'd be willing to bet most 17 year olds don't even know much about Wiki leaks. And she's Miss America, not Secretary of State. Anyone looking for (or expecting) political guidance here is an idiot.

Why didn't no black or hispanic win this? I think it be all racist.
