Obama Names Chicago Way Politics As Usual and Insider Bill Daley as White House Chief of Staff

President Barack Obama has named William "Bill" Daley as the new White House Chief of Staff, replacing Rahm Emanel, who bailed on the White House to try and grab power of the Office of Mayor for the City of Chicago, due to the exit of Mayor Richard M. Daley, brother of Bill Daley.

Politics as usual and the Chicago Way?  For our local viewers in Illinois, the Daley name is familiar.  Unlike his mayoral brother, Bill Daley's personality is less outrageous, but make no mistake.  He is an insider of the political mafia.

But, is that what President Obama promised during his campaign?  Many believe his biggest mistakes have been surrounding himself with political insider and mafia types like Rahm Emanuel and that while Bill Daley may be an improvement, it's still from the same political mafia club.

Others say Bill Daley is a more moderate, centrist, with ties to the business community from being Secretary of Commerce previously and his current role as Midwest head of JP Morgan Chase.

Bill Daley...good for Obama or America?

I've been a big fan of Obama, but I'm not happy with putting the old cronies in power who are going to make sure nothing really changes.
