Glad the city is doing so well that they, along with the school districts can afford to spend the taxpayers dollars on such things as 1.7 million EXRTA for a new bus contractor. FOLLOW THE MONEY PEOPLE, FOLLOW THE MONEY! A new contractor just is not worth it even though Mookey thinks it is...FOLLOW THE MONEY. Did any of you taxpayers check out the new company or are you just going to take MOOKEY's word for it? Follow the money.

If you read the Board Book at d131 they would be paying another $500,000 for two years again another misprint by the Beacon-fused. The story behind this is a child was almost raped by another student and there have been many violent fights. Some of these students are so violent they are classified special ed. Rich Lee did not address the problems. BTW this is a company West Aurora picked why not have Rick Lawerance save the day.

Does anyone know what is happening at the former Lowes on Orchard?

It will be a Super Dollar Tree, on insta-Tattoo, Flea Market, or Mega-Pawn Shop

Openline should check out the state of Old Second. They released the proxy for the annual meeting in May.
The Bank has not paid their Tarp dividend over 6 straight quarters and now the US Treasury will appoint 2 new directors to keep an eye on the board and the taxpayers money.
Will the new US Treasury directors get a country club membership like the Chairman and the President?
The meeting in May should be a slam dunk all is fine, nothing to see here. move along.

7:58 If these "students" are so violent maybe they shouldn't be in school at all but in another learning setting.....If carbon dioxide is hazardous I'M sure these "students" could be classified the same. THey are the parents responsibility not society's.

Is anyone else pissed that the grey goat (Weisner) is on the Toll Commission board, effectively boosting his pension by tens of thousands of dollars per year very little work?

Old Second shareholders should vote no on the "say on pay" motion like Citibank, look what is also happening at Wells Fargo shareholder meeting.

The 1st Qtr 2012 earnings call will be available on 4/26. Go to Edgar Sec use OSBC for more info.
