President Barack Obama Hears Political Winds and Now Says He Supports Gay Marriage; Illinois Senator Barack Obama Supported Traditional Marriage on Principle...Should It Be Politics or Principle?

A day after North Carolina said no to gay marriage and members of his administration, including VP Joe Biden and Chicago political mafia veteran and now Secretary of Education Arne Duncan declared their support for gay marriage, President Barack Obama says he now supports gay marriage.

For those of you from Illinois, this may seem confusing.  Barack Obama as a Senator from Illinois supported traditional marriage.

Regardless of your view, supporting traditional marriage, gay marriage or "civil unions" should this issue be political or a matter of principle?

Political views change and "evolve" but principles are what they are.

While President Obama's view has significance since he is, after all, the President of the United States, the reality is his view may not matter if states and, ultimately the Supreme Court.

Obama made a stupid move. He's playing to the Dem base instead of the mainstream of both parties and it will backfire.

Here is a real issue.

There is no reason why human and a chimp or Bonobo could produce a viable offspring(The only question really is, can that entity reproduce with another of its kind and replicate the species or are they all sterile hybrids).

So since the human and ape could reproduce doesn't that mean the relationship is far more natural and far more deserving of marital status than that of two guys, two woman, or a a half and half who want societal acceptance?

And if male-male, female-female, HeSHe whatever relationships are okay how can you deny marital status to a sapien-simian relationship that produces an offspring? And if that is okay then why not man-sheep, woman-dog relationships? Do you have any idea how many zoos are out there? Why is their perversity any worse than say two weirdos dressed in leather chads parading around whipping each other and demanding we accept them on the PTA?

Actually, 11:26, Obama's playing to the mainstream of the American public, who wants government out of our personal lives. If you've got two consenting adults who wish to enter into a committed relationship, why should someone else be able to say they can't. Two guys (or two gals) getting married does not endanger MY heterosexual marriage in any way. Or I guess 11:56 would have us go back to the days of outlawing interracial marriages, too.

Beastiality: It's not for everyone. But if supporting means you will get re-elected then it will become law.

Try reading what 11:56 wrote - it makes total sense and has nothing to do with interracial marriage.

11:56 is a moron. Who the hell makes the jump from a man loving a man to a man loving a dog. What a stupid argument that has nothing to do with the issue.

You people need to realize that not everybody believes in your god and just as much as you don't want the church to have to provide birth control is the same way I don't want the government telling me who I can marry.

The government has NO BUSINESS in these social issues.

You "Christians" need to wake up.

I don't understand this hatred toward gay people.

It is not like the gay people want to get married in your ignorant church. They just want the benefits of marriage that straight couples get.

If you were married to a Wilda beast like Moochelle you'd want an alternative too!!!

Now lets get to the real issue....this son of a bitch couldn't tell the truth if his kids life was at stake. Always flip flopping or lieing take your choice.

5/10/12 11:56 AM In addition to being a moron, it seems that you've inadvertently exposed some of your deepest fantasies to the world.

That's why this countries Great, even assholes like 5/12/12 8:58 PM can have an opinion and try and protect the commander and chimp!

Now looks like OBAMA kind of liked what went on in the back of that limo in Chicago several years ago that he loves to deny but the other party claims as truth.

2:20 I read what 11:56 wrote, and it also has nothing to do with same sex marriage. Bestiality is a completely different subject, despite his lame attempt to make it so. The government has no business dictating whether or not two consenting adults can get married. Individual churches would not be forced to perform these marriages if they don't want to, and those that are willing to perform these marriages (and there are plenty of them right now) would not be unconstitutionally prevented from doing.

Marriage, even though the churches would like you to believe differently, is not a religious institution for everybody.

If you say that gays can't get married because of the bible, the what about atheists and Buddhists. Are they allowed to get married.

The stupid Religious right takes gay marriage to bestiality, which is completely fucking stupid, but I like to take their argument to the non-religious.

Our government in NON RELIGIOUS no matter what the fucking religious right would like you to believe.

Get the fuck out my government or at least get the fuck out of my bedroom.

It is amazing to me that anybody believes your ridiculous argument.
