Election 2012 Republican National Convention - Speech By Mitt Romney



Mitt Romney's speech at the Republican National Convention included his personal story and contrast to the policies of President Barack Obama.

Regardless of your political view, do you better know Mitt and Ann Romney today compared to a week ago?  How would you rate his speech on presentation as well as content?

Why don't he and his wife just go with the fact that they are successful as hell and can do the same with our country instead of trying to sell that they are common people which they obviously are not.

I agree that that's the line he should push, but I'm not sure that it's a fact he can do the same for our country. There's a CHANCE he can, but remember when he was Governor he didn't work well with the legislature, until near the end when he cooperated w/ them and got his biggest signature accomplishment -- Romneycare.

Romney was a failed governor. He did not run for re-election because he knew that he could not win. His approval was at 30%.

Romney is great at business when he can operate without the scrutiny of the press and give orders that his employees will carry out without question. As a governor he was a failure because he could not provide the leadership needed to work with a legislature. Just like our governor.

If OB depended so much on teleprompters why did he kick ass in debates? I suspect the same will happen when MIT steps up, which doesn't mean I'm pro OB, but you have to admit he is a good salesman who does not need to rely on teleprompters.
