Jesse Jackson Jr Saga Continues As DC Home Listed for Sale

The latest twist in the saga of Congressman Jesse Jackson Jr is news his Washington DC home, which serves as his primary residence and where his kids go to school, is now for sale.

Jackson has allegedly been ill and his staff claims the reason for the sale is high "healthcare costs" even though he pays nothing for healthcare...all of it is paid by taxpayers.

Earlier this year, Jackson's close buddy and fundraiser, Raghuveer Nayak, was arrested by the Feds.

In addition to Jackson, Nayak has been a close buddy and fundraiser for two other shady political figures in Illinois, former Governor Rod Blagojevich and Aurora Mayor Tom Weisner.

Weisner owns a home in Florida.

Jackson is covered by health insurance like any federal employee, but there are still deductibles, copays, etc. Long stays in medical facilities can bankrupt even those with insurance.

Jesse Jackson Jr earns 174K as a Congressman and his wife earn 115K as a Chicago Alderman. That total 289K a year. Taking an appropriate 2.5 times that amount that would indicate they should be able to afford a 722K home. Let em see they have a 2.5 Million dollar townhouse in DC and another home in Chicago…hmmm…the numbers don’t seem to work.
