Jesse Jackson, Sandi Jackson, Rod Blagojevich, Tom Weisner All Share a Raghuveer Nayak Problem

Aurora Mayor Tom Weisner, Gerry Galloway, Raghuveer Nayak

Now that former Congressman Jesse Jackson Jr and his wife, former Chicago Alderman, Sandi Jackson have been indicted after years under investigation, the public needs to take a good hard look at themselves.

Just a few months ago, even though everyone was aware that Jesse Jackson Jr. was likely under investigation by the Feds, he was easily re-elected by a landslide.

Remember this weird robocall he made toward the end of the campaign?

And, the truth is the way politics works in Illinois between unions and the political mafia getting out certain people to vote combined with the ignorance of much of the public, even a corrupt, unethical, incompetent person can win, as we have seen locally when former Aurora Alderman Stephanie Kifowit took a MILLION DOLLARS from the Madigan political mafia to buy a state rep seat.

It's too soon to say if both Jesse Jackson and Sandi Jackson will end up in federal prison, but the more likely scenario is that Jesse will serve the time and Sandi will pay the dime.

As more public officials head to prison from Illinois, it would be ironic if Jesse Jackson ends up in prison with another corrupt egomaniac from Illinois named Rod Blagojevich, the former Governor.

Jackson and Blago share a very close buddy and fundraiser named Raghuveer Nayak.

He's the businessman who was indicted by the Feds on various fraudulent schemes. Nayak is also the one that wanted to raise the money to buy Barack Obama's U.S. Senate seat for Jackson from Blago.

Nayak will likely end up in federal prison, too.  Maybe to join his buddy Blago or his buddy Jackson.  Sooner or later, every federal prison will have a public official or their cronies from Illinois.

But, what about Nayak's other close buddy?  Tom Weisner, the Mayor of Aurora?

Nayak was introduced to Aurora and Weisner by Gerry "Popsicle Boy" Galloway, a dirty, slimy political hack brought to Aurora by Weisner.

Like everything happens in Aurora, Nayak "coincidentally" started dumping money into Weisner's pockets and getting involved with schemes in Aurora.

From buying property that would be in the path of a development in downtown to becoming the owner of the Old Copley Hospital, Nayak's biggest mistake in life may not be Blago or Jackson, but getting mixed up with Tom Weisner and Aurora.

For the residents of Aurora, this is even more complicated since as owner of the Old Copley Hospital (a scheme hatched with Weisner), the symbol of blight and reverse economic development for Aurora's near east side.

Weisner can't say or do anything other than twiddle his thumbs, rapidly shift his evil eyes and once in a while express fear of developing a "Nayak" problem as he sips another tall one.

And, for everyone who voted for Rod Blagojevich or Jesse Jackson or Sandi Jackson or Tom Weisner, look at your increased tax rates, tax bills and debt and decreased values of your properties.

You're getting what you paid for.  As taxpayers flee Illinois, you'll be left paying for it all.

Is there any truth to the rumor that the 2nd ward Alderman, Juany Garcia, is currently under investigation by the FBI?

The FBI should set their sights a little higher. Like maybe the 700 block of S Broadway or the 3rd floor of 44 E Downer
