Tax Reform | Commentary By Aaron Schock of Illinois

When will the United States of America actually have a simple and fair tax code that would allow for job growth and creation?

Is it possible to have tax reform in spite of President Barack Obama's efforts to complicate taxes?

We have NEVER had a simple tax code and never will. There is too much lobbying by the big interests, and the congress critters get too much money from lobbyists, big business, and the wealthy. Everybody is all for closing loopholes -- except for the ones THEY use. The only ones w/o lobbyists are the average taxpayer. And the politicians really don't care about us. This isn't an Obama issue, or a Boehner issue, or a republican issue, or a democrat issue. It's all about what's in it for the politicians. This has been going on for decades before Obama, and will continue for decades after Obama.
