Stephanie Kifowit Ducks Gay Marriage Question and Says She Needs to Take a Survey to Figure Out Which Way the Political Wind Blows

Protesters on both sides of the gay marriage issue swarmed former Aurora Alderman and now so-called State Rep Stephanie Kifowit's office.

As with most important or controversial issues, Kifowit hid and ran away from the debate unless she gets permission from Michael and Lisa Madigan on what to say.

Kifowit said she needs to first take a "survey" for the 84th District to figure out which way the political wind is blowing before deciding her position.

The problem for Kifowit is that she's made her position clear for and against gay marriage, depending on who she was soliciting support for.

She has tried to insult those who are gay at various times, yet cuddles up with gay supporters like Lisa Madigan.

She has told religious people she's "against" gay marriage yet taken thousands from campaign contributors looking for her to endorse gay marriage.

"Kifowit's position changes based upon who's she's speaking to and she will decide based upon purely selfish political interests" said an east side resident from Aurora's 3rd Ward, where Kifowit exploited taxpayers as alderman to attend parties and events.

So voting according to how her constituents feel is a BAD thing, Openline??

Sometimes I think that Stephanie Kifowit could rescue a child from drowning in the Fox River and Openline would still find a way to twist it around and run that picture & videoclip for what, the 6th or 7th time now?

Openline=SORE LOSER.

To Ms. Kifowit,

Researcher Michael Bedford established that human sperm can penetrate the egg of Hominoidea (chimpanzees, gorillas, bonobos, gibbons) and that DNA has demonstrated conclusively that man and “apes” interbred several times since originally diverging we really need to examine the role of marriage. A man and man and woman and a woman cannot produce an offspring no matter how much they love each other but a man and another Hominoidea species can produce an offspring and can also love. Given that man and “ape” can procreate and therefore far more natural union than man and man or woman and woman we also should be discussing extending the marital relationship to include all coupling that can result in procreation.

We need to be inclusive when we discuss marriage and open our eyes to all forms of natural love, especially that which can result in procreation.

To 12:25 p.m.:

The proposed legislation clearly says "two persons", and has no reference to offspring (of any species).

If you want humans and apes to be able to legally marry, you will need to organize support for legislation stating exactly that. Good luck!

Then we should no support same sex marriage if we are not going to permit marriage between those who can pro-create. To do otherwise is discriminatory and intolerant.

So all elected officials shoudl vote no on the proposed legislation as it does not insure the right of marriage to all possible natural parents, something to homosexuals can never be.

What part of "two persons" don't you understand, 11:57 a.m.?

Anonymous said...

One of the biggest leaders in the Republican Party said "NO, NO, NO" to same sex marriage...until it was revealed his son was gay and for it...and the the Republican Leader changed his mind and said he was all for it. That is what politicians do...their opinion is based on how it affects them personally...has nothing to do with what is right or wrong. I think the blogger loves Stephanie otherwise he wouldn't give her so much attention. I wish he could be more factual on his claims instead of exaggerating everything.

What part of the purpose of marriage do you not understand 12:20? It is an institution created to promote family - which means children.

I know homosexuals like to argue, oh so only people who can have children shoudl get married...as an outlier, but the purpose of marriage is to create a permanent relationship in order to a stable environment for the rearing of children.

Marriage is about children, something homosexuals want to deny.

All I am saying is we need to be inclusive in what marriage entails. Stop your discrimination, intolerance, and simian-phobic behavior.

I have to agree here. The institution of marriage is intended to sanctify the union of man and woman for the sake of the children. While we do not say sterile people cannot marry, that does not change the purpose of marriage. And if we are expanding the definition of marriage then yes any revamp should include all combinations that can result in a baby. Perhaps we should also discuss polygamy as it appears that is a viable way to raise children that should be considered instead of piecemeal legislation.

I disagree. Yes, I wanted to have children, and am very proud of all 3 of them and my grandson, but that's NOT why I married my wife. I married her because I loved her and wanted to commit to live the rest of my wife with her -- and that's what the vows say. The vows didn't say anything about children.

Anonymous said...

You may disagree with why you got married, but the fact is marriage was instituted in this country in order to provide for children. That is why their were bastardy laws established etc.

Anonymous said...

The PROPOSED LEGISLATION says nothing about procreation, children, or offspring. It says "TWO PERSONS".

There is no discrimination involved against simians or anyone else in the proposed legislation.

Anonymous said...

It is WRONG to limit the discussion of marriage to homosexuals when other people who can procreate (polygamist) are being OPENLY DISCRIMINATED against.

The correct thing to do, is vote no or send it back to committee so it is no longer codifies discrimination!

Given so many people have accepted that it takes a village to raise a child, I would think we had grown enough as a society to see the logic and effectiveness of polymarriage.

this legislation is openly discriminates against religious practices and interfere with the free expression of love. It is wrong!

Anonymous said...

The proposed legislation, which Ms. Kifowit will be voting on, says "two persons". Not three or more, not two primates or mammals...and absolutely no mention whatsoever of procreation.

If you believe there is discrimination, why not hire an attorney and file a lawsuit?

Or are you just using the whole simian/polygamy/procreation argument as a red herring?

Don't like gay marriage?

Then don't get gay married!

;)

the whole damn thread is stupid. gay people cannot have children so there is no reason to allow them to marry. marriage is for the rearing of children. two lezzies or to buffers can't make a baby so no marriage. now stop talking stupid

Anonymous said...

"marriage is for the rearing of children"...

Okay, my husband and I have been married 34 years. We have raised children who are now college graduates and productive members of society. Should we now get a divorce? Or should our marriage be considered over since we are not now rearing any children?

Anonymous said...

9:43 - are you retarded? Really that is the stupidest thing I ever heard. You really are an idiot.

Anonymous said...

10 04 agreed. It is obvious the gays are trying to nitpick a very substantive argument because all the care about is getting everyone to have to support their brand of perversity.

You know the minute they get this passed they will be insisting land lords have to rent to them, that they can openly serve on school boards etc.

All this is about is using the law to force decent people to accept homo lifestyle.

Every seen a gay pride parade? These freaks do not deserve anything but scorn.

Anonymous said...

The queers just want to force you to accept their choice in lifestyle. Frankly I would rather have a guy married to a female ape as a neighbor then two queers.

For all the interesting comments none seem to have been directed to the root of the issue.
why is the government meddling in who can and can not get married.
"Wed in holy matrimony"
anyone over thirty should remember this phrase. Chances are it was used if a wedding took place in a church.
Marriage was never intended as an institution of government regardless of any laws passed to the contrary

Anonymous said...

the government should not use taxes to influence our behavior. That is what the argument is really about. Married people get tax breaks. We should eliminate those and then the argument for gay marriage goes away. If there is no benefit to marriage from the government then the need to get married becomes weaker.

10:04 p.m., I doubt that 9:43 p.m. is at all "retarded", if indeed they have successfully raised children.

Their point is that IF marriage is for the rearing of children, and they are not currently rearing children then it follows logically that there's no reason for them to be married.

I'm wondering if YOU might be retarded, if you can't understand that.

My in-laws have been married for +50 years, but haven't been raising children at all for almost 25 of those years. So if marriage is about rearing children what are they, half-married? Married with an asterisk?

And my lesbian neighbors are rearing a child (a grade-school-aged niece of one of them; if not for her aunt stepping up the kid would be in a foster home or institution). If marriage is about rearing children, then they would currently be considered more "married" than my in-laws!

Anonymous said...

Oh please a bunch of gay activist trying to make the claim marriage is not an institution designed around raising children = pleez

Marriage has always been about providing a stable, committed relationship for the rearing of children.

Anonymous said...

According to who

Anonymous said...

Hey 6:06 the last tax break married people got was the elimination of the marriage penalty

Anonymous said...

So 9:16, since my lesbian neighbors are raising a child they should be able to get married (after all, they are "providing a stable, committed relationship for the rearing of children").

;)

According to the history of this country - go back and look at all the bastard laws and what happened if you had a child out of wedlock

Anonymous said...

That was then, this is now.

Thank God we no longer stigmatize children for the circumstances of their birth.

Anonymous said...

Oh please, some women deserve a Scarlett letter - likd Kifowit

Anonymous said...

By the way, why is it not good to stigmatize children born out of wedlock. If you disadvantage them you will probably not perpetuate bastards into the next generation, but if you accept them as equals you will probably perpetuate the cycle.

Anonymous said...

Hell I am all for letting lezzies marry if I can drink a beer, jerk off while watch the honeymoon.

Anonymous said...

12:46 a.m., blame the victim much??

Anonymous said...

SO MS KIFOWIT, WHERE ARE YOU LIVING THESE DAYS? TRYING TO MAKE BELIEVE YOU LIVE IN THE DISTRICT AS THE LAW SAYS..... TAX RECORDS DON'T LIE AND WHY ARE YOUR TAXES GOING DOWN AND THE REST OF THE HOMEOWNERS TAXES ARE GOING UP???
