Bob Vaughan was paid $458,000 for his last year as Fox Valley Park District Director and his pension is $186,000.
Steve Messerli was paid $376,000 for his last year as Director and makes a pension of $180,000.
Nancy McCaul just retired. Does anyone know the payment for her last year of Park District employment and her pension amount?
Jim Pilmer was just hired and what is his real payment amount? In addition to his published salary of $150,000, how much additional tax money is he receiving for a car allowance, clothing allowance, educational stipend, travel allowance and other perks?
The taxpayers of the Park District would like to know as we are getting taxed to the hilt in our homes and businesses.

Paying this kind of money for the head of a Park District is ridiculous. Planning and maintaining parks and operating recreational programs and buildings is simply not $200,000 work. An even more shameful expenditure of tax dollars is for school district superintendents, assistant superintendents and the educational administration. If it's "for the children," why are we paying $300,000 salaries? What's even worse is that they'll retire in their 50's for a year or two and then come back as a highly paid consultant for a second $100,000 plus job paid by public dollars. Is it any wonder why taxes are so excessive in Illinois?

The president of the United States makes $400,000 with a travel allowance and other benies. The Mayor of Chicago makes less than $200,000. What the what?

Stocking the pro shop at Orchard Valley and making sure there are enough Pilate mats trumps State budget reform every time. At least in the Fox Valley.
