The Justice System Is Broke, Not Just Because of Bad Cops, But Bad Prosecutors, Bad Judges Who Dont Care
From Aurora to Chicago, we have very serious examples of bad cops involved with lying, corruption and even murder.
Bad cops like Jason Van Dyke and Jon Burge from Chicago. Bad cops like Joe Glinewicz from Fox Lake and Kristen Ziman from Aurora.
While it's great to see the Department of Justice investigate police accountability, the reality is the so-called justice system is only a legal system and it's very broke.
There are bad prosecutors and bad judges. And, those just as part of the problem.
Why should this matter to you?
Because even if you aren't falsely accused of a crime, thrown into this broken system, you are paying for a massive expense that doesn't result in solving chronic problems or show improvement.
David Axelrod sits down with Cook County Sheriff Tom Dart on why the system is broke and why most don't care.
